Our Romp and Spa events have not changed location. They are still being held in the same space that Canine Connection used to occupy. RRMN is still able to utilize the space for our Romp and Spa events, even though Google maps has listed the business as Permanently Closed. If you would like, you can use the 13600 Co Rd 11 address (Valley View Pet Hospital) in your GPS device; it will get you to the correct building location. Canine Connection is just a few doors down from Valley View Pet Hospital.
All rabbits attending RRMN events MUST be vaccinated against RHDV2.
Two Ramsey Co. pet rabbits died suddenly earlier in September 2021 from a highly contagious rabbit disease detected for the first time in MN: Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2 (RHDV2). They were indoor pets & had no contact with other rabbits. The unexpected death of four pet rabbits in Hennepin County in July 2022 was linked to RHDV2, which was confirmed in one of the carcasses. There is no known risk to humans. Owners should report any unexplained and/or sudden deaths in rabbits to their veterinarian or the Board of Animal Health.
